Mawahib provides high-quality education rooted in academic excellence and Islamic values, for students in Egypt and Sudan.
Mawahib International School was founded in 2008 in the Republic of Sudan with a simple, meaningful vision: to give every child an education that combines academic excellence, Islamic values and strong character.
From the start, Mawahib followed the Cambridge curriculum and enriched it with Islamic principles, so students could grow in knowledge, faith and character together. In 2019 our first Cambridge IGCSE cohort graduated.
Between 2023 and 2025 the school moved to Egypt, opening its campus in Nasr City, Cairo, and launched a digital learning programme so students could keep learning. In 2026 we proudly reopened in Sudan, with branches in Khartoum and Omdurman, while continuing in Egypt.
Today Mawahib continues to inspire excellence through Cambridge education, innovation, Islamic values and character development. We are now developing Mawahib Online School for Sudanese families around the world.
To nurture confident, ethical and globally responsible learners guided by Islamic values and equipped with the knowledge and 21st-century skills needed to succeed.
To develop confident, compassionate and responsible individuals who think critically, act with integrity and contribute positively to society.
It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to Mawahib International School. We founded Mawahib with a simple yet meaningful vision: to give every child an education that combines academic excellence, Islamic values and strong character.
“We believe that every child is a unique blessing from Allah (SWT), gifted with talents and potential that deserve to be nurtured in a caring and inspiring environment.”
Through the Cambridge curriculum, enriched with Islamic principles, we prepare learners to meet the challenges of a changing world with knowledge, resilience and purpose.
Mawahib is a vibrant community where students from different cultures learn together. Every learner is respected, and every talent is celebrated.
Parents are part of school life. Three parent meetings are held each academic year to follow every child's progress, and families join us for the Science Fair, the Quran Competition, Sudanese Global Day and the Spelling Bee to see their children's work and efforts first-hand.
